On a recent trip to Jacksonville, Florida, Kristy and I stopped in Starke, Florida to see the Atheist monument.  You may remember the locals put up a Ten Commandment monument at the Starke City Hall, so the local Atheist group erected a monument to non-belief.  It caused a little dust up.

Not only is it an attractive monument it's also functional as a bench to sit on and reflect.  Really neat.  While taking this picture it occurred to me that the second commandment says,“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below." So making a statue or graven image of the Ten Commandments and stopping by to pay homage (or as some would say to worship it) is a violation of the Second Commandment.  Hmmmmmm........now that's fucked up like a soup sandwich!!

Here is another view of the Atheist monument.

A big high five to the Atheist of Starke, Florida!!
